I want to share something with you today that has been stirring in my spirit. It’s a truth I’ve had to learn the hard way, and maybe you have too:
Acceleration follows alignment.
For years, I tried to force things to happen in my business. I jumped from one idea to the next, thinking, Maybe this is the thing that will work. I doubted myself, hesitated, second-guessed, and compared my progress to people who seemed light-years ahead. And all that did was keep me stuck.
Sound familiar?
Maybe you feel like you’ve been running in circles, trying everything, but nothing is truly clicking. Let me tell you—it’s not because you lack ability. It’s because alignment must come before acceleration.
What Does Alignment Look Like?
Alignment is when you’re finally in sync with what God has actually called you to do. It’s when you stop striving to make something happen and start walking boldly in your assignment.
When you’re in alignment, things start to flow.
The right ideas come with clarity.
The right opportunities present themselves.
The right people show up.
Things that used to take years suddenly happen in months—or even days.
Alignment is not about doing more—it’s about doing what you were truly meant to do.
What’s Keeping You Out of Alignment?
If acceleration follows alignment, then it’s important to ask: What’s keeping me out of alignment?
Most of the time, it’s one (or more) of these things:
Forcing something that isn’t yours to do. Just because an opportunity looks good doesn’t mean it’s your opportunity.
Doubt and second-guessing. When you’re constantly questioning yourself, you’re not fully stepping into your calling.
Fear of failure. The fear of getting it wrong can keep you from moving at all.
Comparison. Looking at someone else’s success and thinking you need to do it their way instead of the way God designed for you.
Distraction. Trying to do too many things at once instead of focusing on the one thing God is breathing on right now.
I’ve been there. I know how frustrating it is to feel like you’re doing everything and getting nowhere. But the shift happens when you align.
How to Step Into Alignment and Accelerate
If you’re tired of slow progress, it’s time to stop and ask yourself:
What is God telling me to lean into? What do I need to let go of?
Because here’s the truth: You don’t need to chase. You don’t need to strive. You need to ALIGN.
Here’s how you do it:
Get quiet with God. Stop looking for all the answers outside of yourself. You already have them inside of you.
Look at what comes naturally to you. The gifts, skills, and experiences you’ve been given are not random. They are clues.
Be honest about what’s draining you. If you’re constantly frustrated, exhausted, and spinning your wheels, it might be time to release something that’s not yours to carry.
Commit to moving forward boldly. The moment you stop hesitating, doubting, and overthinking—and just move—everything shifts.
Your Acceleration is Waiting
I know how hard it is to keep going when you feel like things aren’t moving fast enough. But hear me on this:
The problem is not that God isn’t blessing you. The problem is that you might be misaligned.
When you align, acceleration will follow. Doors will open. Favor will show up. Things that felt impossible will start to happen with ease.
So today, I challenge you—align and move. Because when you do, acceleration is inevitable.
